Check out http://tinyurl.com/222c73 and you should be able to get info on arts programs. Once you get the school info, it’s probably listed under that specific category.

The thing about online schooling of any kind is that you have to make sure you are going to an ACCREDITED school. That’s why I like that website ’cause you can get all the info you need from the top online schools (all accredited) in a gazillion subjects.
Even if it’s not listed, they probably have the info you just have to hound them down sometimes.

Good luck!

Have A Tranquil Night Utilizing A CPAP Mask

VoiceOverWork Comments Off

Suffering from fatigue during the day can be caused by a multitude of issues, but one of the main contributors is from a lack of quality sleep. In addition to not getting enough of it, many people cannot rest even when they force themselves to bed due to sleep apnea. Unfortunately, sleep apnea can be difficult to recognize by individuals since they may not notice problems breathing at night without the help of a partner or other loved one’s vigilance. But even once diagnosed, how can it be treated? A highly effective option lies in a continuous positive airway pressure, or CPAP, mask.

At first glance, CPAP masks may seem overly complex. They are made up of a flow generator that creates pressurized air flow, a hose that links to the flow generator, and a full or nasal face mask that provides a connection to the user’s airway. Regardless of CPAP masks’ strange appearance, when used continually and with proper care, they are the most effective non-surgical treatment for the most common type of sleep apnea (called obstructive sleep apnea). It should also be taken into consideration that CPAP masks come in various styles, and some will be more effective than others. The type of brand that should be used depends on an individual’s sizing needs and comfort level.

Individuals also may have heard horror stories about how CPAP masks can cause negative side effects such as eye irritation, nasal congestion, sore throat, and general discomfort. Thankfully, all of these issues can be dealt with by making certain that a CPAP user has selected the right mask for them. The type of CPAP mask chosen for the individual should be based on that person’s most common sleeping position, breathing preference, and any sizing factors which they may want to consider. Additionally, certain CPAP masks have been created so that they provide a low air pressure when first worn, and slowly increase the pressure as the user nears sleep, thus lessening irritation.

Wearing a CPAP mask at night is, in truth, a small adjustment to make, especially when compared with the possible adverse effects of untreated sleep apnea. These include short term memory problems, impaired judgment and cognition, as well as moodiness. CPAP masks allow additional air to be pushed into a user’s airway so that respiratory muscles undergo less strain and keep regions of the lung from collapsing. This is good news for CPAP users’ partners as well, since the masks often end up eliminating bothersome snoring.

CPAP masks are continually becoming more portable for user convenience, and remain one of the foremost options available to those dealing with sleep apnea. So long as users maintain regular maintenance and care for their mask, they should fully reap the benefits of a more peaceful and oxygenated sleep. Individuals should seek advice on what type of CPAP mask would work best for them before investing, so that they achieve optimal results with little stress and difficulty.

What Is PID Tuning And How Does It Effect Us?

VoiceOverWork Comments Off

A PID controller controls a unique property’s operator described standpoint using a box of electronics. The dictionary defines a PID controller as “to manage restraint or direction over; master; control.” (verb-form). The meaning of a PID controller should you ask en engineer is “The applied science of changing the active behavior of a physical process to secure a desired results.” Some examples of devices that make use of PID controllers are home thermostats and garage doors. Whenever you think of using your vehicle’s cruise control, you may not know it but it is actually using the PID controller’s process in order to maintain the speed of the car.

A sensor and an actuator are needed by the PID control system in order for it to perform effectively. The control system works with the combination of controller and the physical process. Some of the modern day systems that make use of the best or latest PID controller process are hot water thermostats, aircraft pilot system and also car engine management systems.

How does the sensor and the actuator make a PID control system work? The sensor actually senses the physical conditions of the area (or process). The controller then receives that particular data from the sensor. In order to reach the succeeding level of the program, the controller determines what it would be doing to the information relayed to it. It sends the request to the actuator, which modifies the task for the environment.

A PID control system process could be described as either a closed or open loop. So what is the distinction between a closed loop and an open loop? In an open loop operation, the controller is “told” precisely what the process output is. Immediately after it is told, the controller sends data to the actuator to realize the output. A affordable electric heater is one example of an open loop control mechanism.

A closed loop mechanism is when a process is controlled manually. For instance, individuals who would start to feel too hot or too cold would certainly either turn up or turn down the heater’s thermostat. On the other hand of an automatic system to regulate the environment, a person in reality regulates the temperature himself. By using a closed loop mechanism, the purpose is in the long run attained by experimentation.

In the event that you would prefer not to let an individual handle a “closed loop”, it is when you would be needing to substitute the process with a PID controller. The PID controller functions like a human’s mind by looking at what the soothing environment of a place is as opposed with the true temperature. By using these two numbers, it produces a “temperature error.” In return, it employs the temperature miscalculation to place into an eternal equation termed as a PID algorithm. The protocol is going to choose exactly how much to warm up or cool down a space by finding a number on a range from 1 to 100%. With proper PID Loop Tuning, the ambient temperature of the area is going to be your required range possibly by a different, one less or half a degree over the course of a day.

A PID control mechanism is perfect for commercial offices or shopping centers. A heater with hooked up temperatures can instantly be pre-specified, so that a member of staff do not will be required to take time in the course of the day shifting the thermostat’s heat level. By utilizing programmed pre-programmed amounts, it allows using particular varieties of gadgets and their methods far more easy to use.

Business To Business Marketing Tips

VoiceOverWork Comments Off

When an economy is making an attempt to recover from a sluggish period, businesses are doing their best to keep their heads above water. It can be tough keeping a business running with less resources than before. In a slow economy, buyers hold on more firmly to their money. This in turn makes it a tough act for a business to be able to sell its products. Businesses must become more creative with their B2B Marketing skills. You can find numerous business to business marketing tips that will give your business a boost in sales even with existing economic challenges.

Focusing on the business’ house list is among the first steps that businesses should take when confronted with economic challenges. If getting new customers becomes tricky, then businesses must focus on those individuals who are already using their products. Create new campaigns to advertise to current clients. Businesses can also reward them for being long term customers; send present clients free gifts or a coupon for a percentage off of their subsequent purchase.

If you are thinking of keeping a potential client’s attention, then you can do so by amusing them. Some ads are boring and lose readers’ attention easily. Many commercials on television today are humorous or even inspiring. Company websites could incorporate videos that will showcase what the company is all about by making use of well known music that many love, or simple skits that could captivate the audience’s hearts and minds. When a prospect is entertained, they are likely to continue reading and learning about a business’s products and services. A particular song or video that was featured on a website will also help a customer identify with a business.

Another B2B Marketing strategy to always keep in mind for a possible customer: keep it simple. Reading something elaborate and long about a subject will not please customers at all, most especially if they are not familiar about the topic being discussed. Businesses must provide content that will surely draw the attention of customers upon first glance at the site. Visitors tend to leave the webpage if the content does not appeal to their taste. Website visitors need content that is short and simple-which makes it less difficult to understand.

A recession doesn’t always have to mean losing sales. It simply means that a business should be more innovative with their business to business marketing and learn to work with the assets that it already has. A business will also learn how to hold on to their present customers. As an economy starts to recover, people will begin to feel more positively about their purchases.

Q&A: How many mics are necessary for a voice-over production?

Question by rocket: How many mics are necessary for a voice-over production?
I am doing a project about making my own imaginary home studio, with a budget of 20,000 dollars. How many microphones are necessary to have a voice-over sound rig?

* So far I have a Electro Voice RE20 (dynamic cardoid broadcast Mic), any thoughts on that as well?

Thanks in advance for your input! :D

Best answer:

Answer by Henré
For voice-overs you only need one at a time. At most, you can have a handful so you can choose different mics for different voices or applications.

The RE20 is good. I would supplement that with something like a Studio Projects C1.
